General Ledger Financial Statements Prints Income Statements and Balance Sheets. The design and layout of financial statements can be customized to meet the needs of individual companies.
Using the Program
Options Tab
On the options tab, carefully set the dates for last year and this year. Last year dates are used for income statement formats that compare this year to last year.
The last period date is optionally can be configured to print in most income statement formats. When the current period is the first period of the new year, set the last period as the first date of the last period from the prior year.
The adjust dates tool is a convenient way to move the dates up or down a month (single arrows) or a year (double arrows).
You also have the option to print Unposted transactions. If there are unposted transactions this will be indicated on your report.
Report Selection
Financial Statements can be configured into many reports, such as a balance sheet, a detailed and summary income statement, divisional and plant income statements. In this case you can use the report tab to select which reports print.
By default all reports print.
Margins
This is a rarely needed feature that allows you to adjust margins to optimize printing.
