Transaction Details
Each transaction is recorded in the system including:
- Sales
- Invoiced
- Ticketed
- Purchased Receipts
- Miscelaneous Transactions
- Physical and Balance Entries
- Cost Records (Record last standard cost)
Timestamp
Each transaction has a timestamp. When Keystone eveluates inventory, it processes transactions in Timestamp sequence no matter what actual order the transactions were entered into the system.
Understanding Physical and Balance transactions
Physical and Balance transaction reset the quantity value as of the time stamp. When ever a quantity count is being determined in Keystone, all transactions prior to the Physical or Balance transaction are ignored.
Balance transactions establish a dollar value in addition to a physical quantity.
