File Maintenance

J/C Job Maintenance is used to create and edit Job Cost Jobs.

Features

  • Maintain and establish budget quantities and costs as well as percent complete for each budget category/expense type.
  • Link Job Cost jobs to A/R and billing Jobs.

Using the Program

This program is a Standard Maintenance Program with a special detail grid.

Budget

The Budget grid is used to establish a budget by Budget Category and a Transaction Type.

Budget Detail:

  • Budget Category
  • Transaction Type
  • Budget Quantity (optional)
  • Rate (defaults from Transaction Type)
  • Budget Amount
  • U/M (defaults from Transaction Type)
  • % Complete

A/R Job

Select a Customer/Job to link a Job Cost job to an A/R and billing Job. Once this link is established, the system will be able to track and report actual billed amounts to costs from the job cost system.
